I started my blog because of Warcraft III. Duh. A guy known as Torch was working on a Star Wars mod, which I found through a mutual acquaintance, the legendary Olof Moleman. Sure, the mod ultimately didn’t go anywhere, but Torch was a programmer and made all kinds of other stuff — most notably his own forum system, complete with blog system… Not wanting such a feature to go to waste, I wrote some random few-line posts about the maps and models I was working on.
When Torch finally moved on, it was too late. I went to MySpace and talked more nonsense, until MySpace became untenable and I switched to WordPress…
No trial by fire here. Just a… snowball. Nobody said “stop”, so I didn’t.
